BIOACT SC-10E

Main features

  • Multi-Soil Electronics Cleaning
  • Fast-Evaporating No-Rinse Cleaning
  • Manual, Batch, or Immersion Cleaning

Product Description

BIOACT™ SC-10E Solvent Cleaner & Defluxer is a high-performance, non-aqueous electronics cleaner for manual and immersion cleaning at full concentration. Its broad-based solvency removes raw solder pastes, flux residues, uncured SMD adhesives, acrylic conformal coatings, tape residues, marking inks, fingerprints, and oils and greases. The cleaner combines a 52 °C (126 °F) flash point with fast drying and requires no water rinse. It is suitable for appropriately designed non-aqueous equipment, including IPA-compatible batch cleaners and immersion tanks. :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}

Key features

  • Broad electronics-cleaning solvency: Removes solder pastes, flux residues, uncured SMD adhesives, acrylic conformal coatings, tape residues, and other organic contaminants.
  • Fast-drying, no-rinse process: Evaporates after cleaning without requiring a water-rinse stage.
  • High-flash-point formulation: Provides a PMCC flash point of 52 °C (126 °F) for ambient-temperature non-aqueous cleaning.

Applications / Suitable for

  • Stencil cleaning
  • Benchtop and rework cleaning
  • Post-soldering flux-residue removal
  • Manual cleaning by brush, pad, or cloth
  • Non-aqueous batch and immersion cleaning

Thermal Properties
Flash Point
The flashpoint of a solvent is the lowest possible temperature at which it can vaporize to form an ignitable vapor. Flashpoint is often confused with “autoignition temperature”, which is the temperature at which a solvent ignites without an ignition source.
52 °C
General Properties
Specific Gravity
Specific gravity (SG) is the ratio of the density of a substance to the density of a reference substance; equivalently, it is the ratio of the mass of a substance to the mass of a reference substance for the same given volume. For liquids, the reference substance is almost always water (1), while for gases, it is air (1.18) at room temperature. Specific gravity is unitless.
